BUDZRUS.CA ACCIDENTALLY LAUNCHES “THE APOCALYPSE SALE

Nobody knows who uploaded the promo codes.
Nobody knows who approved the discounts.
And nobody knows why the office printer keeps printing the words:

“PLEASE MAKE IT STOP.”

But as of this morning, BudzRUs.ca has descended into complete financial chaos after dozens of stackable promo codes somehow went live at the exact same time.

Customers entering the site were greeted with messages like:

  • “BUY MORE, PAY SIGNIFICANTLY LESS”
  • “WE ACCIDENTALLY ADDED TOO MANY PERCENT SIGNS”
  • “PLEASE DON’T TELL FERN”

Within minutes, shoppers discovered promo codes including:

  • SORRYFERN
  • BUDZBROKE
  • MISTAKE75
  • STACKIT
  • FREEISH
  • PLEASESTOP
  • FINALFINALSALE2
  • HELPACCOUNTING

One customer reportedly combined six promo codes and managed to purchase:

  • 4 jars of Maple Syrup Live Resin
  • 2 packs of Highway 86 Hash Cones
  • a THC-infused ketchup bottle
  • and a novelty lighter shaped like a moose

…for approximately $3.42 and emotional damages.

Witnesses say the checkout page began sweating.

Meanwhile, BudzRUs.ca staff attempted to regain control by disabling coupons one at a time, but every time they removed one code, two more appeared.

At approximately 11:14 AM, Fern allegedly entered the office yelling:

“WHO MADE THE ‘BUY ONE GET FIVE REGRETFULLY FREE’ PROMO?!”

before immediately trying to use the codes herself.

The situation worsened after customers realized some codes could be entered multiple times.

One customer claimed:

“I kept typing ‘BUDZBROKE’ until the website started apologizing to me personally.”

The company’s emergency response team has now issued the following statement:

Official Statement From BudzRUs.ca

“We are aware that customers are currently receiving discounts that were never intended to exist.

Unfortunately, due to a technical issue, the promo code system became self-aware and began acting independently.

At this time we ask customers to stop stacking codes while we investigate why the website briefly offered:
‘Free shipping, free snacks, free emotional support, and 800% off.’

Please remember there are real people suffering here.

Mostly accounting.”

By late afternoon, the sale had become so extreme that BudzRUs allegedly introduced a brand-new emergency checkout fee called:

“The Please Leave Something For Us Fee”

Customers immediately found a promo code for that too.
